Abstract

Community service activities in Bandar Tinggi Village aim to empower the community through developing a banana chips business. By utilizing the potential of local resources, this activity focuses on production training, raw material selection and marketing strategies. Implementation methods include field observations to understand community conditions, followed by practical training involving the community, especially housewives, in techniques for processing quality banana chips, as well as understanding nutritional value and innovation in flavor variants. Despite facing challenges such as a lack of initial understanding and community skepticism, this activity was successful in increasing community skills and knowledge, as well as creating business opportunities that support the local economy. The results of community service activities show a positive impact on increasing welfare and creating jobs, while strengthening the sustainability of local natural resource-based businesses.
