Abstract

Mangrove is a type of mangrove shrub (shrub) that generally grows around coastal waters throughout the coast of indonesia. Indonesia is a unitary archipelago, located in Southeast Asia. As an archipelagic country, Indonesia consists of a cluster of islands . Indonesia also has a vast ocean area. Land and sea are rich in their natural and marine resources. The territorial waters of the sea with a length reach 81,000 km. Geographically, Indonesia is located between the Asian continent and the Australian continent and between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The purpose of this socialization is to find out the importance of planting mangrove trees around the beach on the coast that serves to inhibit the flow of water to the mainland.
