PKM Sosialisasi Kesadaran Masyarakat Pentingnya Legalitas Tanah Sebagai Jaminan Kepastian Hukum Di Desa Medan Sinembah Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa

Land is currently a vital human necessity, serving as a site for housing—providing shelter—as well as for agriculture and other purposes. Consequently, establishing the legality of land ownership through a land certificate is essential; it provides a robust legal foundation for the owner, thereby helping to prevent future disputes. The method employed for this Community Service (PKM) activity—themed "Raising Public Awareness on the Importance of Land Legality as a Guarantee of Legal Certainty in Medan Sinembah Village, Tanjung Morawa District"—consisted of outreach sessions featuring lectures and discussions with all participants in the village. The solution offered by this activity, conducted on Saturday, January 6, 2026, was to foster community awareness regarding the importance of land ownership legality as a means of ensuring legal certainty and protection. Formalizing land rights offers significant advantages to landowners: it provides legal certainty by clarifying rights and obligations, establishes order and fairness, protects citizens' rights, ensures consistent law enforcement, and prevents arbitrary actions and fraud.
