Pengembangan Kemampuan Desain Poster Flayer Kegiatan Bersama Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam Komisariat FST ULB Dengan Aplikasi Canva

This study aims to analyze the use of the Canva application in creating poster designs for the activities of the Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) Komisariat FST ULB. Canva, as a graphic design application that is easy to access and use by beginners, offers various features and templates that allow users to create attractive and professional designs without requiring advanced design skills. Through a library study approach, interviews, observations, and participatory observations, this research explores the experiences of students in designing posters with Canva, as well as the effectiveness of using this application in conveying clear and engaging information. The results of the study show that the use of Canva in flyer design enhances the quality of event promotion, saves time and costs, and facilitates collaboration among members. Furthermore, the designs created with Canva are able to capture the attention of students and increase participation in events. These findings indicate the importance of graphic design training for HMI members to improve their ability to use efficient and effective design tools, thereby enhancing professionalism in delivering promotional materials.
