The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) based on soybean processing has significant potential to strengthen the local economy, particularly through tofu production. This community-based development activity was carried out in Sei Sentosa Village, Panai Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency, in collaboration with a local tofu enterprise owned by Mr. Duwi as the main partner. The implementation method employed a hands-on approach, where participants were actively involved in the entire production process, including preparation of raw materials, washing, soaking, grinding, boiling, filtering, sedimentation, and tofu molding. The results indicated an improvement in product quality, demonstrated by a softer texture, better taste, and more appealing color. The application of sanitation principles and the use of clean water also enhanced the hygienic aspect of the production process. Moreover, participants’ skills increased through direct training and mentoring in tofu processing. Overall, this activity had a positive impact on strengthening small business capacity while simultaneously providing practical experience beneficial for participants’ future endeavors.
